Report: White House to Investigate Use of Private Email

Amid reports that top officials are using them for official business.

The White House is now investigating top officials’ use of private email accounts, and has begun to pull “batches of emails on the White House server to and from private accounts of senior aides,” according to a Politico report. The White House Counsel’s Office is reportedly reviewing the messages in order to find out whether they are relevant to the various investigations into Russian election meddling. It was revealed this week that top officials, including Jared Kushner, were using private email accounts as part of their White House work.
