Israeli reporter Eitam Lachover was slightly injured while filming a report about protective vests. Lachover was testing an allegedly stab-proof vest, but was injured by a knife in the process. He was sent to a hospital to have his wound stitched. The vest’s manufacturer, FMS Enterprises Migun, says the knife did not penetrate Lachover’s protective vest. “The reporter moved during the demonstration, and the ‘stabber’ missed the vest,” a statement said. “The reporter was stabbed slightly above the vest. Our material has been tested in laboratories all over the world, and was found to have met the most stringent standards—far beyond the stabbing ability of a human being."
