Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.âs top picks for his VP slot are two conspiracy theorists, NFL star Aaron Rodgers and former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, according to The New York Times. RFK Jr. said heâd been in âpretty continuousâ talks over the past month with the benched New York Jets quarterback, and had also been in contact with Ventura. Both parties have been receptive to Kennedyâs advances, two sources familiar with the discussions told the Times. In January, Rodgers lost was briskly ousted from his spot on the Pat McAfee show for spreading false allegations that Jimmy Kimmel had cavorted with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein before being reinstated shortly after. Ventura, a former professional wrestler, had a television show in 2009 called Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, targeting subjects such as global warming, and the September 11 attacks, along with other suspicious topics Ventura deemed worthy of investigation. Kennedy has previously worn a tinfoil hat of his own, and spread false information about COVID-19 vaccines.
