University of Louisville men’s basketball coach Rick Pitino will be suspended for five games over allegations that he failed to monitor an assistant accused of hiring strippers and escorts to entertain players. One former escort claims Pitino’s assistant paid her $10,000 to perform 22 shows in Louisville dormitories from 2010 to 2014. Pitino’s attorney told ESPN that the coach plans to appeal the suspension.
