Rick Santorum is joining CNN as a contributor, the cable-news network announced Tuesday. The former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania unsuccessfully ran for president in 2016, dropping out of the GOP primary following a poor showing at the Iowa caucuses. He initially endorsed Marco Rubio for the primary vote, but went on to become a surrogate for President-elect Donald Trump. The network also announced that former Philadelphia police commissioner Charles Ramsey will join the network.
