British director Ridley Scott made an unexpected cameo appearance in the dramatic police raid on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ home in Los Angeles on Monday. According to TMZ, the filmmaker was blocked from getting access to his own home as officers taped off a neighborhood street near Diddy’s mansion. Scott, 86, was pictured looking grumpy as he sat in traffic amid the disruption, while another image appears to show him standing at a police line watching the drama unfold. Several helicopters swarmed overhead during the raid in which agents descended on the musician’s property. Another raid also took place at Diddy’s home in Miami, with law enforcement officials telling the Associated Press that the searches were part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York. The rapper’s lawyer has denounced the raids as a “gross overuse of military level-force.” “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” Aaron Dyer told The Daily Beast on Tuesday.
