Half of the the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland is in the books, but there’s still plenty of political action and intrigue to come.
The third day of Donald Trump’s nomination fiesta will start at about 7 p.m. ET tonight. The theme: “Make America First Again,” emphasizing the United States’ competitive standing among the world in both economic and political power.
After the convention is called to order by RNC chairman Reince Preibus, conservative political commentator Laura Ingraham will open day three with her remarks.

Perhaps the most important speech of the night will be night’s final speech by Mike Pence, the governor of Indiana whom Trump recently announced as his vice-presidential nominee.
Several speakers who were reportedly scheduled to speak on the second day of the rally Wednesday will now speak today, including Trump’s son Eric Trump and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
After retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie spoke last night, several more of Trump’s Republican former primary rivals are expected to give speeches tonight: Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Marco Rubio (R-FL). Also appearing: former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, who will speak alongside his third wife, Callista.
Businessman Phil Ruffin, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, retired astronaut Eileen Collins, pill-pushing huckster Michelle Van Etten, Kentucky State Sen. Ralph Alvarado Jr., pastor Darrell Scott, oil magnate Harold Hamm, and VP of the Eric Trump Foundation Lynne Patton are also billed to speak throughout the evening.
All major cable news networks will be covering the event. If you don’t have cable, Twitter and CBS News are partnering to live-stream CBSN’s coverage of the event on Twitter.
