One of the Republican websites found to have been infected with malware had collected donors’ personal information for at least six months while hacked, Ars Technica reported on Monday. The National Republican Senatorial Commiteee was one of nearly 6,000 e-commerce sites breached by skimming software, and among the information found on the NRSC site were donors’ full names, addresses, and credit card data. It’s unclear how many credit cards were compromised during the site’s infection.
