Not many people know that the rock formations in NYC’s Central Park are for more than taking in the view. Climbing fanatic and instructor Ronald Rodriguez lets The Daily Beast in on how to enjoy his favorite bouldering in Central Park. “The best part about it is that I can take a, you know, 30-40 minute ride, and get here, and try some hard boulders and then just go at it.”

In this installment of The Nearest Faraway Place, presented by Land Rover Discovery, join Rodriguez and his pals as they give us the local’s look into this extreme sport that’s right in most New Yorker’s backyard.
