Roger Federer defeated Marin Cilic on Sunday to win his record eighth Wimbledon title. The 35-year-old so-called “King of Wimbledon” became emotional after Sunday’s victory, which was his 19th Grand Slam singles title. “It is cruel sometimes, but he fought well and he’s a hero, so congratulations on a wonderful tournament, Marin. You should be really proud. You had a wonderful tournament and sometimes you don’t just see great in a final,” Federer said.
