It looks as though Mitt Romney will see a positive end to a tough week. Following a double win in Tuesday’s primary, the presidential hopeful’s lead over Rick Santorum has grown to 11 percentage points. Thirty-five percent of U.S. Republicans currently support Romney, according to a new poll, as opposed to 24 percent backing Rick Santorum. The results are almost an exact reversal of where the two candidates stood just one week ago, with Santorum claiming 34 percent of Republican voters and Romney taking 24 percent.
