With a one-shot victory over Phil Mickelson on Sunday, Rory McIlroy claimed his second consecutive major title Sunday. The 25-year-old Northern Irish golfer finished at a 16-under 268 at Kentucky’s Valhalla, winning his second PGA Championship and his fourth major to cement his status as world’s top-ranked player. After the match, McIlroy said there was never any doubt in his mind that he would win. “I wanted to win this thing and get out of here,” he said.
