Alabama GOP nominee for U.S. Senate Roy Moore has written an open letter to Fox News host Sean Hannity, a day after the conservative media powerhouse gave Moore 24 hours to explain “inconsistencies” in his denials of multiple allegations of sexual misconduct. “I adamantly deny the allegations of Leigh Corfman and Beverly Nelson, did not date underage girls, and have taken steps to begin a civil action for defamation,” Moore wrote in the letter. “Because of that, at the direction of counsel, I cannot comment further.” Six women have come forward, including one who said she was 14 at the time of the alleged incident and Moore was in his 30s. Moore has denied the allegations and claimed in the letter that he is “suffering the same treatment other Republicans have had to endure.”
