According to Fox News correspondent Jonathan Serrie, two staffers from Roy Moore’s campaign “decided to push the cameras back and physically manhandle two Fox News photographers, pushing them away and grabbing their cameras” as they tried to capture footage of the Republican candidate for Senate in Alabama Monday night. The incident occurred as Moore, who has been accused by several women of sexual misconduct and child molestation, was entering his first campaign event in 11 days. In a statement, Moore’s campaign chairman Bill Armistead told Fox News, “Our campaign certainly doesn’t condone any pushing or shoving of anyone, certainly not reporters or anyone else.” Alabama-based reporter Connor Sheets shared video of the altercation on Twitter.
