Rubio: Mitt Will Be President

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio seems pretty sure that Mitt Romney will be our next president. “We are blessed that soon he will be the president of the United States,” Rubio will say Thursday night, introducing the man of the hour. Rubio’s speech lists the reasons President Obama has failed, naming the stimulus plan and health care among his top offenses. “Under Barack Obama, the only “change” is that “hope” has been hard to find,” Rubio quips. Like Paul Ryan last night, Rubio will spend much of his speech describing his rags-to-riches story and working-class childhood. Rubio reiterates his prophecy at the speech’s end: “In November ... Mitt Romney will be elected president of the United States.”
