Russell Brand appeared at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday to attend a soirée for a conspiratorial nonprofit led by Trump’s former national security adviser, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. America’s Future—which Flynn joined as chairman in 2021 and refashioned as a promoter of the conspiracy theory that a secretive cabal of pedophiles runs the media and government—held its Champions for America Celebration Gala at Trump’s Palm Beach resort. The British comedian turned conspiracy theorist joined Kid Rock, Fox News outcast Tucker Carlson, and former Trump adviser Roger Stone, along with actor/director Mel Gibson, for the gala. Instagram stories reveal that Brand and Gibson turned up earlier in the day, with Brand dubbing the actor and conservative commentator Martha Fain his “mates.” During a panel discussion, Gibson also praised the Englishman’s command of his native language. “What a wild place this is!” Brand exclaimed of Mar-a-Lago, in another Instagram story.
