Prosecutors have asked a New Jersey judge to delay a Monday hearing against a former Rutgers doctor accused of filming women in the bathroom after a search warrant yielded 11 more computers of evidence. James Goydos, a 58-year-old former professor of surgery for Rutgers Cancer Institute, allegedly recorded at least 26 women and three other people undressing in a bathroom and broke into several coworker’s offices to commit identity theft. Assistant Prosecutor Allysa Gambarella told Judge Bucca the discovery of nearly a dozen new computers has yet to be analyzed. Goydos was charged with a 160-count indictment accusing him of burglary, computer theft, and invasion of privacy last March and maintains his innocence. “Dr. Goydos is innocent of all charges lodged against him. We look forward to proving it in the courtroom,” his lawyer, Orlando do Campo, said on Monday, after agreeing to postpone the hearing for the prosecution's discovery.
