The New York Police Department’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating anti-Semitic graffiti found in a subway station that targeted Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The graffiti included a swastika and the phrase “Die Jew Bitch” written over an advertisement featuring Ginsburg at the Nassau Avenue station. “Hate Crime Task Force is currently on scene investigating ANTI-SEMITIC vandalism at the Nassau Ave station on the G line,” NYPD Hate Crimes tweeted. “Thank you to all community members for alerting the NYPD.” The NYC subway tweeted that the “offensive imagery” was found Tuesday and “crews removed it immediately” after police collected evidence for their investigation. NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot F. Shea said, “NYC has no place for hate.”
