An San Antonio, Texas, airport employee was killed after being sucked into the engine of a plane, authorities said. According to local reports, the Delta Airlines flight was taxiing to a gate late Friday when it “ingested” the worker, who was not identified. “We are deeply saddened by this incident and are working with authorities as they begin their investigation,” the airport said.
