At a town hall in Lady Lake, Florida Monday, Rick Santorum failed to correct a supporter who claimed that Barack Obama is not legally the president and that "he is an avowed Muslim." Santorum simply replied, "Well look, I'm doing my best to get him out of the government right now." When asked after the town hall why he doesn't counter voters who promote the idea that Obama is a Muslim Santorum said, "I don't feel it's my obligation every time someone says something I don't agree with to contradict them, and the President's a big boy, he can defend himself and his record."
