Sarah Huckabee Sanders Condemns Annapolis Shooting of ‘Innocent Journalists’

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Thursday evening denounced the shooting that occurred in the Capital Gazette’s Annapolis newsroom that targeted “innocent journalists.” In a tweet, Sanders wrote that she “strongly condemn[ed] the evil act of senseless violence in Annapolis, MD. A violent attack on innocent journalists doing their job is an attack on every American. Our prayers are with the victims and their friends and families.” Five are reported dead after an as-yet-named gunman opened fire inside the newspaper’s offices.
