Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate, sent a pointed tweet to Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) after the lawmaker suggested she would not vote to confirm Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh. “Hey [Lisa Murkowski] - I can see 2022 from my house...” she tweeted Friday afternoon. Palin’s remark is a reference to her infamous statement claiming that Alaskans can “actually see” Russia from U.S. soil. Earlier Friday, Murkowski told reporters she thought Kavanaugh was “not the right man for the court at this time.”
