‘Saturday Night Live’ Women Defend Franken

Dozens of women who worked with Al Franken when the now-senator was at Saturday Night Live have written a letter in his defense following his allegations of sexual misconduct. The 36 women list condemned the Minnesota Democrat’s behavior but ultimately said “not one of us ever experienced any inappropriate behavior.” They wrote, “We feel compelled to stand up for Al Franken, whom we have all had the pleasure of working with over the years on Saturday Night Live,” adding, “In our experience, we know Al as a devoted and dedicated family man, a wonderful comedic performer, and an honorable public servant.”
