The death of Navy Cmdr. Job W. Price is being investigated as a suicide, officials told ABC News. The SEAL Team 4 commander was in Uruzgan province, Afghanistan, overseeing stability operations at the time of the “non-combat-related injury” that resulted in his death. One of the military officials—who confirmed that his death is being investigated as self-inflicted—said Price was discovered on the base with what looked like a gunshot wound. The SEAL team that Price commanded—separate from the now famous SEAL Team 6—was one of the Navy’s eight Special Operations teams that deploys to Afghanistan. The rest are based stateside.
