Following shocking, security camera footage of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ physical abuse of his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, everyone and their mother is seeking to make some distance between themselves and the former star. Most recently, New York City Mayor Eric Adams rescinded Combs’ ‘Key to the City’ on June 4, according to TMZ. Adams presented the honor to Combs on Sept. 9, 2023 and only two months later, Ventura sued Combs for rape, human trafficking and domestic abuse. Combs and Ventura settled out of court the day after Ventura filed the lawsuit. In May, security footage from one of Combs’ physical attacks on Ventura surfaced, prompting a public reaction. “I was deeply disturbed by recent footage of Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulting his then partner,” Adams opened his letter to Combs. Combs, still embroiled in other sex and drug trafficking investigations, returned the key on June 10, according to TMZ.
