Sean Hannity responded on Monday to the revelation that he was represented by longtime Trump attorney Michael Cohen, claiming that Cohen has never represented him and that he never paid legal fees. “Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective,” Hannity, a Fox News host, wrote on Twitter. Hannity hasn’t yet said how specifically he used Cohen’s services, but the lawyer’s other clients include President Donald Trump and GOP fundraiser Elliot Broidy. The three clients were revealed in federal court on Monday. Later Monday, Hannity said his discussions with Cohen “dealt almost exclusively about real estate.”
