Sen. Orrin Hatch Dismisses Kavanaugh Protesters: ‘Grow Up’

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) told protesters to “grow up” when they confronted him about his support for Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh near an elevator on Thursday. “Why aren’t you brave enough to talk to us?” a protester asked. Hatch shooed her away, at which point she responded, “Don’t you wave your hand at me!” Hatch then said, “Grow up...” but the rest of his sentence was inaudible. “You grow up! How dare you talk to women like that!” a protester yelled in return. Hatch then made a shooing motion towards the group while the elevator doors closed.
