After over 20 years in Congress, Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) has decided not to run for re-election or for the state’s governorship in 2022, two people familiar with his affairs say. Toomey, presently the only Republican holding statewide office in Pennsylvania, is expected to make a formal announcement Monday.
