Attorney General Jeff Sessions has reportedly opted to rescind a policy that enabled legalized marijuana to flourish without federal intervention, the Associated Press reported Thursday. According to the AP’s two sources, an announcement would likely come later Thursday, letting U.S. attorneys located in states where pot is legal decide on their own whether to enforce federal marijuana laws or not. The policy change will in all likelihood increase confusion about whether it’s legal to grow marijuana in U.S. states that have legalized such activity.
