A twin-engine Russian Let L-410 Turbolet crashed early Sunday, killing 16 of the 23 passengers and crew on board. Miraculously, seven people were pulled out alive from the twisted wreckage in the Tatarstan region of Russia. The small jet was carrying a group of parachute jumpers when it went down in a remote area. The pilot reportedly signaled a left engine failure minutes before the plane went down according to Russian media.
