Frequently accused of carrying out “witch hunts” against illegal immigrants, Joe Arapaio now says he’s the victim of one himself. The Arizona sheriff denounced Thursday a federal civil-rights investigation accusing him of systemic discrimination against Latinos. Arapaio pointed out how President Obama opposes Arizona’s tough immigration law, adding, “I don't want to say it's all politics, but everyone I'm talking about happens to be Democrats.” He said he was being made a “whipping boy for a national, international problem.”
