Good news is hard to come by these days for Rick Perry, but this ought to at least shore up his immigration cred: Arizona sheriff Joe Arapaio will endorse the Texas governor for president, according to MSNBC. The two will campaign together in New Hampshire this week. At a recent debate, Perry described his Republican opponents as “heartless” when it comes to his policy of in-state tuition for children of illegal immigrants in Texas; Arapaio is famous for his harsh anti-immigration tactics and is a defender of Arizona’s tough anti-immigration law.
