A set of skeletal remains found last year at the bottom of a severely receded Lake Mead were identified on Tuesday as belonging to a 39-year-old North Las Vegas man who drowned in 1974. Donald Smith’s death was ultimately ruled an accident at the time. It’s one of three sets of human remains found in the lake—one of which has already been identified.
