The Cypriot refugee whose photograph of a bowl of Skittles was used in a controversial tweet by Donald Trump Jr. is now reported to be suing his fatherâs presidential campaign. David Kittos, 48, filed a copyright-infringement lawsuit against Donald J. Trump, according to Law 360 reporter Bill Donahue. Kittos lives in Guildford, England. The photograph was shared with the caption: âIf I had a bowl of skittles and I told you just three would kill you, would you take a handful? Thatâs our Syrian refugee problem... This image says it all. Letâs end the politically correct agenda that doesnât put America first.â A campaign logo for Republican nominee Donald Trump was placed at the bottom of the image. âI donât support his politics and I would never take his money to use it,â Kittos told BBC News. âIn 1974, when I was 6 years old, I was a refugee from the Turkish occupation of Cyprus so I would never approve the use of this image against refugees.â
