A small plane crashed into the Hudson River between New Jersey and New York City's Upper West Side on Friday evening at approximately 7:30pm. It is unclear how many people were aboard the plane. At 8:25pm, New Jersey State Police tweeted that one survivor was in the water, while divers searched for other possible survivors. The plane was reportedly a P-47 Thunderbolt, a vintage World War II-era plane that typically seats one person.
