Sofia Coppola married rocker Thomas Mars Saturday in a ceremony at her family’s home in Bernalda, Italy. Bernalda’s mayor, Leonardo Chiruzzi, officiated the ceremony, which was at the home of Coppola’s grandparents. “Everything went well. It was simple, calm, in the garden,” Chiruzzi said. The bride wore a lavender gown designed especially for her by Azzedine Alaïa. Coppola and Mars have two daughters together, and they revealed their engagement in May.
