Sony and singer R. Kelly have agreed to go their separate ways, Billboard reports. The singer has reportedly been removed from RCA’s website—a subsidiary of Sony. The news comes amid backlash after the Surviving R. Kelly docu-series detailed sexual-abuse allegations against the singer. Authorities are reportedly investigating the allegations. Kelly has been signed with Sony since the 1990s, and has been under contract at RCA since 2012.
