Sorel, purveyor of some of the best winter boots on the market has just launched your new spring shoe, their first ever waterproof sneaker. The Out ‘n’ About Plus Sneaker is inspired by its namesake, the sneaker/boot hybrid Out ‘n’ About Plus Boot.
Much to my surprise, the Sneaker is Sorel’s first fully waterproof sneaker, with a waterproof suede upper and a herringbone sole, so you won’t slip during whatever kind of rain you walk through. The sneaker comes in five colors: Black, Natural Tan, Sage, Zing (a coral), and Dove (a blue-gray) and is priced at $95.
The best part is that unlike other waterproof sneakers, it doesn't look like a glorified water shoe. The elastic laces will keep your foot secure while allowing you the ease of slipping in and out of them, unlike the traditional hobble around attempting to take off rain boots that have suctioned themselves to your feet. - Jillian Lucas
