Maybe using a cute, red-sneakered piece of pasta to remember Pearl Harbor wasn't the best idea, SpaghettiOs. The company sent out a tweet late Friday night saying, "Take a moment to remember #PearlHarbor with us" along with a photo of their smiling SpaghettiO mascot proudly holding an American flag. The backlash on Twitter was enough to get the company to delete the tweet and issue an apology: "We apologize for our recent tweet in remembrance of Pearl Harbor Day. We meant to pay respect, not to offend."
