For those Lakers fans actually experiencing apocalypse-like symptoms—Los Angeles’s basketball team was supposed to be a superpower, but instead it’s struggling with a losing record—there is hope. Lakers point guard Steve Nash, known for his Canadian roots and formerly Katie Couric–style hair, returned to the team after missing 24 games with a fracture in his leg. Not only did Nash score 12 points and tally 9 assists (while Kobe Bryant also added 34), but he boosted the Lakers to an overtime win against Golden State. And he’s rocking a new haircut.
