Embattled former casino mogul Steve Wynn is selling $100 million worth of artwork from his collection, Artnet News reports. Reports emerged last week that an iconic Andy Warhol painting of Elvis Presley was coming on the market; on Monday, the ex Wynn Resorts CEO was revealed to be the seller. In January, dozens of women accused Wynn of sexual misconduct in a series of Wall Street Journal stories. He denied the allegations, but stepped down from his company and resigned as the finance chair of the Republican National Committee. The works he’s auctioning off at Christie’s in New York include a famous Andy Warhol painting of Elvis and Pablo Picasso’s “Le Marin.” Art adviser Todd Levin speculated that Wynn may have to auction off the artworks because he sold all his shares in Wynn Resorts last month. “Steve Wynn, not as a person but as an entity, owned stock, cash, and art—and those are all likely tied together through a complex web of corporations and/or trusts,” he told Artnet News.
