Trump Campaign’s Website Dumped by Credit Card Processor

The card processing company became the latest business to abandon the president in the wake of Wednesday’s attack on the Capitol.

The financial technology company Stripe will no longer process credit card payments on President Trump’s campaign website, The Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday. Several companies have cut ties with the president since he helped incite a riot at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, leaving five people dead. According to the Journal, Stripe cited its policies against encouraging violence in deciding to boot the president’s campaign account.
