‘Outraged’ Fox Host Blasts ‘Hollywood Elites’ in College Bribe Scandal: They ‘Absolutely Hate Donald Trump’

TODAY IN TRUMPLAND TV

The Fox Nation host attacked those accused of buying their kids’ admissions to top colleges, bizarrely claiming they are all anti-Trump lefties.

Because we watch Trumpland TV so you don’t have to, today we learned that Fox Nation’s Stuart Varney thinks the wealthy parents accused of bribing top colleges in order to gain admission for their children are also representative of leftist thought and the Democratic Party.

The parents are rich and famous. The very people, the elites, who tell us how to live, how we are all deplorables [...] I haven't asked, but I'm pretty sure a lot of these parents absolutely hate President Trump.

What about, and I have to raise this: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?

No, you don’t! You don’t have to raise Ocasio-Cortez at every opportunity! It’s actually not necessary! Nobody asked about her! It’s almost as if the idea that people rich enough to bribe their children’s way into college were leftists wasn’t enough to carry the full five minutes, and they had to find something else on which to spend empty words.

But since political donations are public we can go ahead and debunk Varney’s assertion that the people alleged to have been involved in the bribery schemes were all the mythical elite liberals. Plugging their names into OpenSecrets.org will reveal these rich people support the kind of candidates to whom rich people give money: Marco Rubio, Mitt Romney, Pat Roberts, Steve Stivers, the GOP congressional leadership fund, and the San Diego Republican Party (along with an even mix of donations to Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, ActBlue, and other prominent Democrats).

Keep crackin’, Stuart Varney, we’re sure you’ll get something right one of these days.
