A Long Island high school has thrown the penalty flag at a group of students for “Tebowing” in the hallway earlier this week. The four teen boys, all athletes at Riverhead High School, received a one-day in-school suspension on Thursday for copying Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow’s famous one-knee pose that has spawned a national craze. School administrators said that the boys created a fire hazard and made other students late for class by blocking the hallway in between periods. “If the kids aren’t going to abide by rules, there are consequences,” the school’s principal said.
