Archive Suck It, Putin! Johnny Weir's Fabulous Sochi Fashion (Photos) Johnny Weir may not be competing for the gold this year. But neither that nor Putin's anti-homosexuality babble can stifle his Olympic style. See Weir's fabulous Sochi fashion. Published Feb. 12 2014 5:45AM EST
Paying no attention to the strict anti-homosexuality statutes in Putin's Russia, openly gay Johnny Weir is not holding back with his outrageous style in Sochi. The two-time U.S. Olympic figure skating medalist is one of the fresh new faces NBC has snagged to be a commentator for the figure skating competitions. And, his presence has been a breath of fresh air. His ability to explain the inner workings of the sport to viewers—with an added dash of wit and charm—keeps the world tuning in...along with the desire to see what he'll be wearing next, of course. After all, the Olympics have always been a little gay .
On Thursday, Johnny Weir kept things simple and classy in a black vintage Ferre blazer, white Commes des Garcons cardigan, and Versace leather pants. He went big on the accessories, however, sporting an Erickson Beamon wreath, a Joomi Lim necklace, a Chanel watch, and, of course, Rick Owens wedges.

Weir takes the Olympics by storm on Monday, wearing an all-black ensemble. He dons a high-neck, structured blouse by Moi-Meme-Mattle, black Son Bung Kaun pants, Rick Ownes wedges, a statement necklace by Phillip Lim, and an Erickson Beamon ring.
Sunday, Weir added a pop of color to his ensemble, sporting a turquoise vintage Valentino and coordinating Rick Owens suede wedges with J Brand skinny jeans, a white Sandro button-down, and a jeweled headband and necklace, both by Erickson Beamon.
Weir brought out the sequins on Friday, sporting a shining silver Jacket by Unconditional, a grey ruffled top by Libertine, and white skinny J Brand jeans. Regardless of the outfit's bling, Weir also brought out the accessories, wearing Erickson Beamon jewelry and spiked Christian Louboutin loafers.
On Thursday, Weir's lovefest with RAI LA continues, but this time he's going all leather. And, as we've learned from the former skater, no look is complete without lots of bling. It's an outfit worthy of Weir's fierce fashion pose.

We are begining to realize that Weir really LOVES his RAI LA leather leggings and Rick Owens wedges (he's worn them almost every day). But at least he is getting creative with his hair.

Weir looked bold in a bright pink vintage Chanel blazer, leather pants, and Rick Owens wedges. Once again, the hair was also out in full force. Time time, a braided pompadore .

Swapping his usual leather pants for traditional denim jeans, Weir stays warm in a fur trimmed coat. But where is his jewelry?! It must be in his Prada bag...

Weir chose a more conservative fur coat to blend in with the locals, but his hair is what stole the outfit! The braided headband is a subtle statement peice and blends in perfectly with his look.

Never one to shy away from a good neckpiece, Weir donned another Chanel pendant while posing with legendary Russian figure skater Tatiana Tarasova.

With a fashion power stance worthy of a Vogue cover, Weir blended a lot of looks: a 60s style ruffled shirt, Billy Reid blazer, RAI leather leggings, and Rick Owens wedges.
