The NYPD investigated a suspicious package found Tuesday afternoon in front of a Brooklyn property owned by former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort. An NYPD source told The Daily Beast that package was a wooden box with “American Fascism” written in bold print across the front. A pin with “God Bless America” was found inside the box. Police have deemed the situation “all clear.” Manafort’s property, which was listed as “subject to forfeiture” in his indictment, is currently under construction after prosecutors alleged that $1.4 million loaned to him for renovation purposes was used to pay back the mortgage of another property Manafort owns. This comes as he is facing charges of conspiracy, money laundering, and bank fraud.
