Is it Michael Jordan redux? Former NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady is trying a comeback, but this time as a pitcher. On Tuesday, McGrady tweeted, “Been working out at Constellation Field w Sugar Land Skeeters. Working on my pitch. Childhood Dream coming true.” To make the Atlantic League team, he has also sought out the help of legendary pitcher Roger Clemens. However, Clemens seems to think that dream is still far from reality, telling a reporter, “He’s not anywhere close to pitch for the Sugar Land Skeeters. The bullpen I watched him throw he was throwing 83 maybe 85 mph. He’s still trying to locate it.” Ouch.
