Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is officially Taylor Swift’s most successful album release yet, topping the Billboard 200 list with 1.653 million “equivalent album units” sold during its first week on the market, according to industry analytics firm Luminate. It’s also the biggest album release since Adele’s 2015 powerhouse 25, which sold more than 3 million album units in its first week, Variety reports.
