Billionaire tech mogul Ben Horowitz told Andreessen Horowitz employees in a Friday email that he has had a personal change of heart about supporting Kamala Harris for the presidency. Horowitz said the sitting vice president has been a “great friend” to him and his wife Felicia for over 10 years. “She’s also been a friend to the firm in our early days, helping with several events at my house when we built the original Cultural Leadership Fund network,” wrote Horowitz, who is a partner at the venture capital firm with Silicon Valley titan Marc Andreessen. Horowitz added that he has been “encouraged” by conversations he has had with Harris, but the firm so far does not plan to change its position after announcing it would back political action committees for Donald Trump in July. “From a firm perspective, we continue to only take positions consistent with our Little Tech Agenda,” wrote Horowitz. But personally, he is all in for Harris. “Felicia and I will be making a significant donation to entities who support the Harris Walz campaign,” he wrote.
