Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz appeared to put aside their longstanding, often-heated differences and make up Thursday morning when the pair appeared together on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. The two senators have feuded in the past over policy issues, and Graham once jokingly remarked that if Cruz were killed on the Senate floor, he wouldn’t be convicted. “I want to apologize to Ted for saying he should be killed on the Senate floor,” Graham said Thursday morning. Cruz responded, “At least we’re not on the Senate floor now.” Graham and Cruz were appearing on the program to argue in unison for defunding the United Nations over the Security Council’s vote to condemn Israel for its settlement activity.
